Doggies...Come by the office anytime for a special treat! Yummy!
Meow...meow...calling all feline! We love you too although you don’t like to socialize with us. Be sure to remind your mom or dad that you must stay inside. No kitty cats can roam around, you might get lost or even worse, hurt. We will look forward to waving to you as you soak up the sun in your windowsill.
Make sure you consider all the factors, especially when thinking about purchasing a pet. Such factors include your lifestyle, your finances and your environment.
Consider your daily schedule. Are you rarely home? It may not be fair to the dog but cats love it. Once you’ve thought about your lifestyle, you can then think of what type of breed would work best. Know the potential problems of getting a pet and the specific breed that may work best, before bringing one home. This will eliminate the possibility of it not working out and having to find a new home for your pet.
Having a dog is a financial commitment - they rely solely on you!! They have to go to the vet for shots when they are sick, be fed when they are hungry, and be bathed when they are dirty. So be sure that you are financially able to care for the dog before you bring him/her home. That too will eliminate the possibility of it not working out and having to get rid of it later.
And of course, you need to consider your environment. Since Oak Timbers is a pet friendly community, all you need to do is check with the office regarding breed restrictions and deposit requirement bringing home your new companion.
Thinking about getting a four legged companion for your apartment?
